Most of us love to keep up with the private lives of our favorite Royals—whatever details of it they let us in on at least. The moment these people were born, they were already thrown into a world of wealth, fame, and power. Still, we don't really know everything about them, but one thing we do know for sure; they're rich, famous, and the world cannot have enough of them.
Now, have you ever wondered how much they're worth exactly? The Royal Family, on its entity, is said to be worth around $88 billion. Knowing this, we can’t help but wonder about so many other things. Let's pretend we're royalty, and get some answers for ourselves!
Lady Amelia Windsor – $1 million
She's the third cousin of Prince Harry and Prince William, meaning that Lady Amelia Windsor is the 39th in the line of succession to the British throne. She might not be as well-known as some of the other members of the Royal Family, but she’s managed to make quite a name for herself!
In fact, Lady Amelia has earned a fortune of around $1 million simply by being herself! She’s been working as a model for the past years and has already earned quite a reputation. She’s signed with Storm Model Management and has walked runways for Dolce & Gabbana. She's also participated in campaigns with companies like BVLGARI.
Princess Eugenie – $4.8 million
Being so far off from the throne, Princess Eugenie has had the chance of partially following her dreams. After graduating from the university, she moved to the States, working in a gallery in New York City. Today, she’s 29 years old and has a net worth of $4.8 million.
The Princess got married to Jack Brooksbank back in 2018. However, they haven’t had any children yet. Given how many projects she’s undertaken, though, it’s understandable that she doesn't want to get pregnant just yet. In 2019, she helped fund the Anti-Slavery Collective and even started her own podcast.
Princess Beatrice – $5 million
Speaking of Princess Eugenie, her older sister named Princess Beatrice couldn't have skipped this list. After all, he’s also rich and financially independent from the Queen. In university, Princess Beatrice studied history and history of ideas. Most recently, she's been working as the Vice President of Partnerships and Strategy at Afiniti.
Overall, she’s not done all bad for herself, having also earned a $5 million fortune! In 2019, she announced that she's engaged to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and they’ve even set a wedding date for the end of March 2020. He is a developer and funder of a company called Banda.
Camilla Parker Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall – $5 million
Camilla Parker Bowles wasn’t always part of the British Royal family. In fact, she only became a royal when she got married to Prince Charles of Wales in 2005! By that time, she was already in her late 50s. However, her story with Prince Charles apparently dates back to the late ‘70s.
Their on-and-off relationship was such a scandal that the Queen didn’t even bother to attend their wedding ceremony. All in all, Camilla, now Duchess of Cornwall, wasn’t born in a poor family. In fact, both her parents were extremely well accomplished. That’s partly how she got to have her $5 million fortune.
Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex – $5 million
When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their decision to withdraw themselves from their Royal duties and titles early on in 2020, the whole world was shocked. Meghan, now Duchess of Sussex, wasn’t born into the Royal Family. Nor was she planning on joining it until she started her relationship with the Prince.
They tied the knot in 2018 and have since had one son, Archie, born in 2019. They’re now expected to relocate to Canada, and we’re all curious to see if she’ll make a comeback in acting. By playing on Suits, Meghan was earning $450K per episode, having accumulated a total fortune of $5 million.
Princess Michael of Kent – $8 million
She was once an interior designer and an author, before getting married to Prince Michael of Kent. Princess Michael is now 75 years old, and even though she’s officially been a royal for the past decades, she’s still writing books. The last one she ever published was in 2017 called A Cheetah’s Tale.
No wonder how Princess Michael has been able to earn herself a jealous-worthy $8 million fortune. With the Prince, they’ve had two children, Lady Gabriella Kingston, and Lord Frederick Windsor. Meanwhile, she’s been giving lecturing tours while also helping her husband with his royal duties.
Kate Middleton – $10 million
Yet another woman that was brought into the British Royal family through marriage, is the one and only Kate Middleton. She got married to Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, in 2011. Before that, she was working closely with her parents’ event-planning business called Party Pieces.
By now, the company is said to be worth around $50 million, so seeing Kate’s net worth being at around $10 million is really unsurprising. Ever since her marriage, though, she’s mainly been occupied with hers and the Prince’s royal duties instead of helping out with the company, which is easily understandable.
Zara Tindall – $20 million
We might be moving further down to the line of succession to the throne, but the lavish fortunes don’t seem to be affected by it. Zara Tindal was sixth to the throne as a baby, however, by now, she’s 18th. She’s been married to Mike Tindall since 2011.
Zara, on top of being a Royal, she’s an equestrian and an Olympian. In fact, she participated in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games with her maiden name. Even though she got banned from driving for six months in 2020’s January, she’s got nothing to worry about as she can clearly just jump on her horse!
Prince Richard – $25 million
For the biggest part of his life, Prince Richard has worked as an architect. It wasn’t until his older brother passed away when he embraced being the Duke of Gloucester. Prince Richard might not actually have descended from King George IV, but he’s King George V’s youngest grandchild.
With royal blood running through his veins, Richard is now the 27th in the line of succession, with a $25 million fortune. Most of which he inherited through the heirlooms and properties that came with his duchy. He is 75 years old right now and has been married to Brigitte van Deurs since 1972.
Prince Philip – $30 million
Along with his wife, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip has become the longest-reigning consort and the oldest male member of the Royals. He’s 98 years old right now, and although he has retired from most of his duties, he’s very much still around. After all those years, it’s no wonder how he has a $30 million fortune.
Prince Philip is an avid artwork collector, as well as a sports enthusiast. In fact, he’s helped create a competition for carriage driving, which is safe to say is his favorite sport. In December 2019, he had to briefly enter the hospital. However, he’s now back in Buckingham.
Princess Anne – $30 million
Upon Queen Elizabeth II’s crowning, Princess Anne was second on the line to the throne. Now, she's fourteenth. She’s been married twice, first to Mark Philips and later to Sir Timothy Lawrence, with whom she’s been married with since 1989.
With her $30 million fortune, Anne chooses to spend her time as an equestrian. In fact, she’s even bagged an Olympic Gold medal back in 1971. She keeps on accepting honors to this day. In 2020, she was given an Honorary Academic Degree by the University of Aberdeen, as Doctor of Laws.
Princess Diana – $31.5 million
Princess Diana was one of the most beloved members of the British Royal Family. Unfortunately, her life's journey was cut short. She passed away from a driving accident in 1997 at the age of 37. By then, she had already gotten married, divorced, and had two children, Prince Harry and Prince William.
Most of her wealth came from her settlement to Prince Charles. In fact, at the time of her death, Diana was apparently worth around $31.5 million, and $21 million of it was from the settlement. Her riches also included a great number of jewels and dresses.
Prince Harry – $25 million
Having already spoken about his famous mother, it’s really no surprise that Prince Harry is on this list. He was born in 1984, meaning that by now, he’s already 35 years old. Prince Harry, much like his brother, enjoys driving helicopters and has served in the Army Air Corps for almost a decade!
His total fortune is now estimated at around $25 million. In 2018, he got married to Meghan Markle. Ever since then, they’ve been hitting the news with their lives. A year later, they had their first baby, Prince Archie. Shortly after, in early 2020, they announced that they’ll to be stepping away from their royal duties and relocating to Canada.
Prince William – $40 million
We’ve already mentioned both his mother and his brother, so we can already expect that Prince William’s net worth is high as well. As it turns out, it’s higher than both Diana’s and Harry’s has ever been. In fact, Prince William is now said to have a fortune of around $40 million!
He also likes driving helicopters and has served in the Army, Navy, and British Air Corps. Since 2011, he has been married to Kate Middleton, and they have three children together. Their youngest, Louis, was born in 2018. In 2020, Prince William was appointed the Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.
Sophie Helen – $35 million
Back in 1999, Sophie Helen got married to one of the Queen’s sons, Prince Edward. They have remained together ever since then and have had two children, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn. Even though she wasn’t originally a member of the British Royal Family, she was fortunately accepted to become one.
She’s now the Countess of Wessex and devotes most of her time to the Queen’s and her charities. By now, she is expected to be worth anywhere around $35 million, which is not at all bad given that she doesn’t come from a noble background!
Prince Edward – $45 million
Prince Edward might not have always been devoted to his royal duties, having served in the army as well. But ever since he started to, he’s earned a $45 million fortune. He is the youngest of the Queen’s four children and is married to Sophie Helen, for whom we’ve already spoken of.
At the time of his birth, Prince Edward was merely third in the line of succession to the throne. Now, as the years went by and the Royal Family has become bigger, he’s eleventh. His children come right after him, being thirteenth and fourteenth on the line, respectfully.
Prince Louis – $70 million
He might be one of the youngest Royals that we’re going to see today, but he’s arguably one of the richest! Prince Louis was only born in 2018, the youngest son of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Despite his young age, he is already speculated to eventually be worth around $70 million.
Apparently, every time a royal baby gets born, the British economy tends to rise, and Prince Louis’ birthday was no exception to that. What’s even more incredible is that his estimated fortune—when compared to those of his two siblings—is close to nothing!
Prince Andrew – $45 million
He's the Queen’s second son and third child. But the reason why Prince Andrew has a $45 million fortune is that he’s a successful businessman. He owns properties all over the world, including a ski resort in Switzerland and a residence in Windsor Park with thirty rooms!
He’s now 60 years old and placed eighth in the line of succession to the throne. He was married to Sarah Ferguson between 1986 and 1996, and despite having had two children, they wound up getting a divorce. Since 2019, Prince Andrew has taken a step back from his Royal Duties for an unknown amount of time.
Archie Harrison – Undisclosed Net Worth
Despite all of the attention that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been receiving, they have done extremely well as parents. They've even kept their only son, Archie, away from the spotlight. However, given their decision to become financially independent, it’s still somewhat difficult to estimate Archie’s exact fortune.
Overall, his parents accumulate a combined fortune of close to $30 million. Archie himself was born on May 6, 2019. As he grows older, only time will tell what path he will choose to follow. For now, he’s seventh in the line of succession to the throne.
Lady Kitty Spencer – Undisclosed Net Worth
She is Diana’s niece, and the daughter of the ninth Earl Spencer, Charles Spencer and Victoria Lockward. Just by taking a look at Lady Kitty Spencer, we can understand how she’s been able to become such a well-known model. On top of her Royal blood, she also has incredibly stunning looks!
In fact, as of 2018, she’s been the spokesmodel for BVLGARI! Even on Social Media, she has a gigantic base of followers. On her personal Instagram account alone, she already has almost 520,000 followers. In early 2020, Lady Kitty Spencer announced having gotten engaged to 61-year-old Michael Lewis.
Charles Spencer – $154 million
Charles Spencer and his family aren’t always in the spotlight, but their level of wealth is astounding. He isn't a royal himself, but he's the younger brother of the late Princess Diana. He has worked for NBC News as an on-air correspondent for nearly a decade back in the late ’80s-early ’90s.
Spencer is worth $154 million. He’s written numerous books and is finishing up an upcoming one expected in September 2020. The 55-year-old has been married three times. He’s been married to Karen Villeneuve since 2011. He’s had eight children though his marriages, and he lives at the Althorp house, which has belonged to his family for centuries.
Prince Charles – $400 million
The highest estimations have Prince Charles being worth up to $400 million. Although we can never know for sure, there’s no doubt that he’s one of the richest Royals, after all, he is the apparent heir to the throne. Prince Charles also holds the titles of Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay.
He’s Queen Elizabeth’s eldest son, having gone through almost all his family tree, he couldn’t be missing from this list. He’s a sports enthusiast, leaning towards competitive polo and fox hunting before it became illegal, but he also enjoys the performing arts. He was married to Princess Diana Spencer and is now married to Camilla Parker Bowles.
Queen Elizabeth II – $530 million
Although most of her riches came with the crown, Queen Elizabeth II has been able to accumulate a fortune of $530 million. After all, she is the longest-reigning monarch, having been crowned back in 1952. The Queen is 93 years old right now and has certainly been through some very good and some very bad years while reigning.
Her marriage to Prince Philip, however, predates even her crowning! Together they’ve had four children, for all of which we’ve already spoken. She’s also an avid corgi breeder ever since she was but a Princess. Her final Corgi passed away in 2018, and she hasn’t bred any since.
Prince George – $3.1 billion
He might just be six years old, but there are great things to be expected from Prince George. Not only does he have the cutest face, having created numerous clothing trends around the world, but he’s also expected to be King one day. In fact, right now, he’s the third in the line to the throne.
It’s already estimated that his fortune will surpass $3 billion once he comes of age. However, right now, he’s not even old enough to be wearing pants, as royals have to wait until the age of eight to do so. In 2018, the Prince became the youngest person ever to make Tatler's best-dressed list!
Princess Charlotte – $5 billion
Princess Charlotte is further away from the throne than her older brother, Prince George. But with her radiant smile, she's now become an icon throughout the globe! In fact, she’s valued as high as $5 billion, making her the richest royal out there!
Princess Charlotte was born in 2015, and she started going to school in 2019. She attends Thomas’s School, which is also where her brother goes to study. The effect that she’s had on families all over the world is undeniable. For certain, Princess Charlotte is going to be incredibly influential as she grows up.
